State Council Meet - Tamilnadu State SGF

On 01st April 2023, the 13th State Council meeting was held at Yelagiri.  Apart from state president and state secretary, other office bearers and council members attended the meeting.  The meeting started with prayer followed by reading of action taken report and the annual report  of Tamilnadu SGF for 2022-23.  The council discussed and approved  the proposal for contribution of Rs.51000/- to Indian SGF for construction of “Scout Centre”  at ALWAR, Rajasthan.   The meeting ended with vote of thanks.

On 01st April 2023, the 5th General Assembly was convened at Yelagiri.  State Patron, council members and members of guilds participated. Ms.Munira Mistry, President, Co-ordination and Ms.Sujaya, Joint Secretary, Karnataka State SGF were the guests. Prayer was followed by welcome address by State Secretary.  Action taken on previous General body minutes were disclosed which was followed by submission of Annual report.  Installation of State Patron Mr.D.C.Elangovan was done by Ms.Munira Mistry  by wearing the scarf of Tamilnadu SGF.  She welcomed the State patron and was appreciative of the way the Assembly was conducted. Chairman, Finance committee submitted the Receipts and payments of Tamilnadu SGF for the year 2022-23.  State patron in his address expressed happiness in joining the SGF and assured all possible help for the movement.  State president in his address appreciated the team on the conduct of 16th National Gathering at Dharmapuri.
