Bridge Beyond the Border - NRI Guild SGF

On 18th May 2023, Harshad Ismail, a member of the NRI Guild of Indian SGF,  paid a visit to the headquarters of the Qatar Scout and Guide Association. The purpose of his visit was to explore potential collaboration and extend support for scouting activities between two organizations.  During his visit, he had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Khalid Framerzi, the financial head of the Qatar Scout and Guide Association. The meeting proved to be a resounding success, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and mutual cooperation between the two scout and guide associations.  As a token of friendship, Harshad presented Mr. Framerzi with an Indian Scout and Guide Fellowship scarf. The exchange of scarves holds great significance in scouting, symbolizing the bond that scouts and guides share across borders and cultures.  Both Harshad Ismail and Mr. Khalid Framerzi embarked on a comprehensive tour of the Qatar Scout and Guide Association headquarters, thoroughly exploring the organization and its sprawling property. The visit provided valuable insights into the operations and infrastructure of the association.  Main aim of this meeting is to strengthen the bonds between organizations and create opportunities for youth development through scouting and to enhance opportunities for learning, personal growth, and cultural exchange.
