Special Gathering of Delhi State
On 22nd and 23rd April 2023, the 1st Special Gathering of the Delhi State SGF was conducted at Holy place Shree Sachcha Dham Ashram Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh, Uttrakhand. Registrations began at 9.00 AM on 22nd followed by an Integration Session. National Advisor and President-in-Chief Delhi State SGF - Madhu Kalia, and Secretary General – Delhi State SGF - Preeti Anand welcomed all the guests & participants in a traditional manner by putting Tilak on forehead. At 11.30.AM Inaugural session began with the Scout Guide prayer, followed by the Welcome address delivered by Preeti Anand. The gathering lamp was lighted by Chief Guest – Secretary General Ind.SGF - Seema Rathi, Madhu Kalia, Guest of Honour - Chairperson Northern Region - Dr. Daljeet kaur, Secretary General, Punjab State SGF - Monika and Preeti Anand, with Traditional music. Key note Address on the Theme "Create Happiness with good health" was delivered by Madhu Kalia. All the Guests were recognised with Scarf & memento by the Uttrakhand State SGF Team members. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering & gave her blessings, followed by Dr.Daljeet Kaur, Mr.S.S.Chamoli - ex-Director BS&G & Patron Uttrakhand State SGF, and Monica. There were 45 participants who attended the 1st special state Gathering 2023, Delhi state. This included 2 from the National team, 28 from Delhi State, 3 from Punjab State and 12 from Uttrakhand State.
Day 1 began uner the Dynamic Leadership & guidance of Madhu Kalia, National Advisor & President in Chief of Delhi State along with team Members Preeti Anand,Ssec.Gen, Avtar Singh State Coordinator, Dipti Jain, PRO & Legal Advisor, Manju Gautam, Cultural Sec. & Yaman Kumar youth member. After the opening ceremony & Lunch, Everybody enjoyed boating in the holy river Ganga. In the evening everyone attended Ganga Aarti & had the blessings of Maa Ganga. At 8.30 PM camp fire was organised in ceremonial way, members entered from four directions with candle and mobile torches with camp fire song "Aag Hue Hai Rohan" inaugurated by National secretary Mrs Seema Rathi along with National Advisor Ms.Madhu Kalia & other guests. The camp fire was led by Mrs. Manju Gautam & assisted by Aman Gupta. Manju Gautam presented a beautiful dance followed by the religious song " O lal meri" sung by Preeti Anand. Beautiful performance of Flute & Guitar was presented by rover Vansh Preet Singh and Aayush.Bhajan by Seema Rathi and Ashram members. Punjab State SGF members also presented Punjabi songs & Jugni with Preeti Anand & Uma Shankar Jha.& Other entertaining prog which were enjoyed by all. Mahant ji Shri Ravinder ji of Shri Sachcha Dham Ashram gave his blessings & appreciated the whole program. It was the most colourful evening of the gathering. The day was concluded with the next day schedule announcement & the gathering team meeting.
2nd day of the 1st special state gathering began at 5.00 AM. All members assembled to leave for the darshan of Neelkanth Mahadev. All boarded the bus & proceeded to Neelkanth Temple. After having darshan of Neelkanth Mahadev all came back to the Ashram. All Faith Prayer:-At 10.00Am All faith prayer led by Seema Rathi ji & Preeti Anand. After The prayer session, everybody had their breakfast. At 11.30 AM all the participants gathered in the conference hall for the closing ceremony of the 1st special state gathering. National Advisor & President in chief of Delhi state Ms. Madhu Kalia delivered a presidential address & blessed the gathering. National secretary Seema Rathi also addressed & gave her blessings followed by Felicitation ceremony by Delhi team hosted by Mr. Umashankar Jha along with Preeti Anand, Avtar singh & Dipti Jain. Delhi team felicitated Mrs Seema Rathi, Madhu Kalia, ashram Mahant sh. Ravinder ji, Mrs Monika along with other members of Punjab state Mrs Jaya & inderjeet Kaur by a Momento, stole & a small gift as souvenir of gathering. All the participants were given a small gift as souvenir. Closing remarks given by Mr. Umashankar Jha & Mrs Preeti Anand thanked each & every one for cooperation & coordination during gathering. Mr. umashankar Jha, Avtar Singh, Dipti Jain, Manju Gautam, Yaman Kumar, Rajeev Anand, Ashish Kumar, Aman Gupta, Mohan, Satender , vansh preet, Ms Harjeet kaur ( uttrakhand) & other members served as volunteers throughout the gathering to make it a successful event. The closing ceremony was followed by Lunch & bid farewell to each other. The 1st special state gathering was concluded with the spirit of " Happiness".
